New noise only appears after driving for 10mins

Hi guys been having a strange noise while driving which appears to be heat related as it is fine until the car has been running a while and gets worse and worse but stopping at a junction or at lights then pulling away again makes the noise get better for a short while then the noise increases again.
It happened twice yesterday noticed a small noise when driving along at 70 in 5th then when I come off the throttle the noise increased a lot, it then changes pitch when I dip the clutch and possibly gets louder. The only time it stopped was when the clutch was travelling through the bite point going down or up the gears and when the car was stopped.
Anyone experienced this sort of thing I was thinking possibly a dry CV boot, or maybe not enough gearbox oil? Everything sounds and drives perfect for first 10mins or so. So I'm guessing something is getting hot and causing the noise?

Going to check gearbox oil levels today but wondered if anyone had any thoughts?

Dry Cv boot. Horrible noise wen letting off the acceleration usualy? Or when just casualy traveling along.
Get some grease pack it in there if it stops the noise for a short while u no whats causing it...

Yeah it sounds awful when letting off the throttle cant hear it too much when just driving along but there is a faint noise there. I did drive it to its MOT without a clip on one of the CV boots as I didn't have a suitable clip, then for the MOT it just needed the clip putting on to pass so maybe they didn't repack it with grease and just did what it needed to pass. I'll have a look at that aswell as checking the gearbox oil.
