Hi I just replaced my catalytic converter on my vtr and lambda sensor which all went well so I decided to rev the car to make sure it wasn't blowing anywhere and when it hit the rev limiter the throttle body went bang and started to click/tick but the car runs fine, what have I done? :s cheers

#2I love it how people think revving a car high helps it. Or is some sort of test.
Check your spark plugs are tight, check the inlet bolts are all on with no leaks. That sort of thing

#3Mines just starting doing this? Tickets louder as you rev?

#4I got over excited revving it lol the ticks get a little bit louder ye but the idle control valve has been playing up lately not sure if its that for some strange reason...

#5I'd check your spark plugs are tightened properly.
Made the same mistake when I was young(er).. Thought it was 'just' the tappets so ignored it.
1 day @ 5k rpm My 8v went bang.. sounded like a tank... Shot the plug out of the head taking all the threads with it.
Lesson learnt
