slight whirling noice VTR

   I have a slight whirling noise when I am idling, I've only just got the car its currently lowered (getting raised) is this anything to worry about it goes when clutch is engaged, gears are fine..? also gear stick is wobbly? many thanks si.

   Sounds like your release bearing mate, as for the wobbly gearstick have a look in the stickies there is an excellent guide on how to reduce it.

   is it a desperate thing to be replaced or will it be okay for a month or two? and the gear stick I take is nothing? thank you

   Gear stick is most likely the roll pin theres a thread for changing it and new and uprated ones are on ebay for like £3
