Rear Axle Rattle

  1. #1
Done a search, nothing has come up..

Its on my 306, not a saxo, but i had the same problem on my saxo and never sorted it..

When i go over a bump in the road, there is a rattle coming from the rear axle.. But it only kind of does it as the wheel bounces if you get me, one or 2 rattles and it stops until another bump..

Its getting a bit annoying now, because if i can hear it, so can every fucker else!

    Any ideas appriciated

Possibly 1 of 2 things, loose shocks where the bushes have become worm,or the arb bolts.

Shocks are about a year old, and uprated.. How do i go about solving the arb bolts? Just tighten?

I shall get under it tomorrow and have a look, and lavish them in threadlock. Anything else will be stuck down, or up as it would go on a car..

be careful with the arb end plate bolt. They snap really easy. Best to replace it with a high tensile one so you can actually tighten it up. Also you might need to tighten the end plate to the rest of the arb. Theres a guide knocking about how to do it
