Gold Brake Discs

    When you see discs that are the bronze- gold colour, do they stay that colour? or is it just paint and it wears off after a few miles ??? cheers

    Do you mean like the one on the left of these?

    If so no it wont last its a zink plating to stop the surface rusting.

    what about the one on the left?? the graphite coloured one?... are they all just coated

    im gathering the holes and slots will still stay gold/graphite?? are is it still un noticable and pointless paying an extra 40 quid for them ?

    Drilling your own discs?? Silly idea? or if done mirrored and calculated to a certain measurement between each hole, surely it shouldnt alter the balance of them?? But will it weaken them?
