gear box leak

    hey everyone

    ive a small leak on my gear box just where the drive shaft enters the gearbox my mate said the seals are only a 10er and he would fix it in an hr or two but how can i check how much oil is in there or can i not.

    Either drain it all out completely and re-fill, or just top it up. You know its full when it starts to over flow out of the filler plug

    Edit: and it takes 2 litres

    where abouts is the filler plug and what oil do i put into it
