how do i wire up a on and off switch for my cooling fan

do you run a mk2?
Its dead easy on a mk1 due to the fan switch in the radiator, just use a relay and wire the switch in in parallel

Its even easier on the mk2's theres a big grey fan relay... Trace the wire back up to the engine bay fuse box and youll see a small blue wire with a connector... Liven that up with a switch and fuse in series and boom!! Done

Wish it was this simple on my 306 My fan has dropped a bit and catches, front bumper and slam panel off job to get it

Thats the relay
Thats the connector and wire, splice a live through a switch into that and jobs a goodun (inline fuse advised, 5a should do)
