torsion bar question?

   I took my car in to a garage he is raising my car back to standard height as its riding at a ridiculous 80mm lowered. . He said it was to rusty and was going to sheer the bolts he has sprayed it with penetrative oil and is going to retry Monday. Whats the chance he will succeed?

   If the torx screws end up chewed, just chisel them round. Replace with hex heads when reassembling.

   he said if he thinks there going to sheer he won't do it as its a big job if they do? am I screwed? thanks for the fast reply..

   Sounds like a cock jockey to me. There is no such thing as a bolt that is too rusty if you know what you are doing.
