205 vts diagnostic wiring

   Hi I've recently finished a vts conversion on my 205 1.1, it goes like stink but idles erratically and randomly goes flat when pulling off or driving normally. After fiddling around with the common problems I've decided to connect it to my diagnostic machine, at the minute there is no obd plug on it as I have no idea which data link connector wires from the ecu go to the pins on the OBD connector. Can anybody help with this? The engine is out of a 1999 mk1 vts single plug. The DLC wires from the ecu are
   Pin12
   Pin31
   Pin42 (poss tachometer)
   I know I need a constant live wire to pin 16 on the OBD and 2 earths, but where do these wires go on the OBD plug?

   Right I think I've worked out that ecu pins 12 and 31 are either OBD pin 7 or 15 but I don't know which is which, does anybody know if it's
   
   ECU12 - OBD7
   ECU31 - OBD15
   
   Or
   
   ECU12 - OBD15
   ECU31 - OBD7
   
   Any help appreciated cheers

   Single plug VTS 16V
   
   ECU 12 -> OBD 15
   ECU 31 -> OBD 7
   Ignition live -> OBD 1
   Permanent live -> OBD 16
   Earth -> OBD 4&5
   
   Can anyone confirm that's correct?
