i am currently running a T25 ball bearing turbo but im worried it wont make the power im looking for, im looking inton getting a TD0516G off an evo/scooby, small turbo but can be ran at 1.5 bar of boost! will this be my better choice or do i stick with my T25

    cheers

Depends entirely on what you spec is and what power your looking to get. And more importantly how you want that power to be delivered.

scoobie /evo turbo will mke plenty of power and spool up from sensible level--but they are different flange than the "t" series .
still think they are good choice for MOST saxo applications
std evo 6 turbo is good for 340ish ----thats plenty for a saxo
std evo can make 1bar +at 1800rpm --so it will be a higher on a saxo ,but still at a reasonably low rpm ,not like the gt28,s which need to be 3.5k or over to make good boost
they are also alot physicaly smaller

    Wise words from John tbh.

The Garrett turbos are popular on saxo's simply because the manifold manufacturers tend to put those flanges on the off the shelf manifolds. The evo turbos are a good choice

Ive got a td05 16g turbo but with t2 flanges It made 318atf on 18psi iirc from the previous owner.
