So I've chopped a few things out of the car, now with the dash out I can get right at the wiring, obviously I can bin off all of the window and stereo wiring etc, is it a case of tracking it back, snipping it and taping the ends up?

    Anything I can cock up?

    Cheers

once youve cut the wires and taped them as far back as you can, remove the associated fuses aswell so the wires will no longer be live

My alarm didn't enjoy me removing the central locking, so that's in the bin now too!

I just cut mine back and taped them up, wrapping them into the loom as much as I can. Still need to do the rear speaker wires mind

That's what I'm doing, it makes me feel a bit dirty though

I am doing the same on my vehicle at the moment or will be the weekend. The full interior is removed so I have a full view of the wiring. The way I would like to do this though is to remove the terminals from the fuse box where possible with the relevant fuses / relays .
It wont take a lot of time to identify each component so it shouldn't take to long to chase it back.

The wires I want to remove are :-
    1- Airbag in its entirety
    2- Interior lighting
    3- Rear wiper
    4- Central Locking
    5- Rear washers
6- Heater motor / interior fan
    7- Sunroof
    8- Audio
9- Rear heated screen ( thinking about it I may just bring it forward and fit a heated front screen )

Just a quick question on the Airbag System. Are there any Can lines that I should be aware of ?
