vts problem

   This has happend twice to me now and need to find out what it is befor I end up stuck. When I start the car most of the time it is fine but got in the other day started up and it sounded like a old motobike as if it was only running on two, turned it off started up again still doing it, again turned off started up as it was fine and has been untill today. Got in the car started up fine drove about 15mile left the car for around 30mins got back in and it did it again.
   
   Any ideas? Need to get this sorted befor it stop working alltogether.
   
   I did have a problem awile ago with it loseing power when pulling away but that turned out to be a lambda and has been fine for weeks since then.

   Also tried to plug the car in to a comp the other day to see if there was any faults and it would not connect to the car for some reason? Unsure on make of comp but was tolled it has been used on many saxos in the past with no problems. Why would this be? And could this have anything to do with what's going on?

   Saxo`s of your year should be plugged into an obd2 scanner,as for the running problem try another coil pack mate.

   The saxo I am talking about is a s reg vts only has 56000 on and it had a new coilpack when I was haveing problems the last time?

   Get yourself to premier garage in pelaw and get Mick or Alan to plug it in.

   Spark plugs, coil pack failure or maybe even a sensor like lambda, take it to a big garage and get them to plug it in a scanner to check as they might be able to find out the problem better, should only cost like 20 quid to get it done

   Had it pluged in today didn't have any faults, they had the comp on and had the emissions test on the exhaurst looks like it has got a miss fire. Said there is air and fule when it is missing so looks like its down to the spark. So I have just put some new spark plugs in and changed the coilpack over with one I had laying about, haven't had it out for a good drive yet but will see what it is like over the next few days
