VTR Clocks in VTS

  1. #1
    Hi guys.

Quick one. I've replaced the clocks in my VTS with a set from a VTR (fuel gauge issues on the VTS clocks).

Everything seems to work fine, however, the speedo max speed on the VTS clocks is 140 whereas the max speed on the VTR clocks is 120. Considering its driven by a digital signal rather than a cable, are they going to read incorrectly or will they automatically compensate?

    Cheers

    Nick

I know they're not all that accurate anyway, but will they still read what they're supposed to?

If the satnav is anything to go by then mines 4mph out so reads 60mph when actually doing 56mph, which is the way it should be anyway, if everyone's speedo's were bang on then there less tolerence for error when approaching speed cameras. If that makes sense

Yeah I know that, they all over read by a bit.

However, I have a VTS that came with 140mph clocks. I've replaced them with a set of clocks from a VTR which only go up to 120mph.

Will they still read what they are supposed to?
