Replacement halo ring for angel eyes..

  1. #1
I've got some angels on the sax, came with the car, all looked to be wired up right, have checked the guide on here and all looks right, but when the lights are on only the main and dipped come on, not the actual halo rings. Literally just the headlight main beams me dipped beam bulbs illuminate.

Either wired up wrong, which I'm gonna redo today, or the rings are gone. I remember seeing somewhere that these are not replaceable, typically now, I can't find find that thread. Is that true??

I didn't think the halo's had a 'bulb' as it were as it was more of a looped light?? Can these be replaced??

most of the time halo's have bulbs, depends. have a look, will be either 1 bulb at the top or bottom, or 4 all around it.

Ok mate, cheers. I'm hoping they do. I just swear I remember someone on here saying once they've stopped working you're buggered! Lol

    Hopefully not.

The halos will be LED so you gotta make sure they are wired up correctly/ the right way around.

Red wire - positive (12v), black wire (ground)

Well I've checked the thread on here on how to wire them up and they look as if they're done spot on so the only other thing I can think of is that it is either a fuse,a s mentioned above, or the bulbs just don't work at all??

Have you got a multimeter/ tester handy?
Check to see if there is 12v at the halo ring?

But before going into detail, i'd check the fuses and double check connections first. Especially your earth/ ground.

Thanks mate. I didn't even think to check the earth. I'll give that a go. Not sure which fuse is for these lights but I'll just check em all and do a power of deduction type off thing. Just want the angels working cuz they look so much better when working!
