as per title. I do a fair bit of motorway miles sat on the m4, so don't want anything too loud. Infact I just want something just a tad louder than the standard system. Why bother? Because they sound sexy, I just want one that I won't regret fitting. Plus it's a vtr not a lambo!
A reasonably quiet back box

#3Jetex is only brand I've ever used that dont give me a headache when driving. But as said magnex are also supposed to be subtle.

#5I ran a raceland 4-2-1 and a saxsport system, was fine even when I went to modified nationals which was a 500 mile round trip
-
#6^ that is the most droney system of the lot!!
70mph with a decat saxsport drones on and on!
Any system with a standard cat manifold however will be quiet.
With a decat or 4/2/1 etc any system with a middle silencer will be quiet enough.
Though an ugly backbox, a complete toyosport system is the least droney setup ive had. It sounded very deep and smooth opposed to most of the raspy systems you can get. -
#7As per video text. Thats mine and its loud even with the underfloor cat. Granted the window is open but loud regardless.

A silencer makes it super quiet. I couldnt tell from a oe bbox to a 2" supersprint with the silencer on -
#8I had a "scorpion imola" backbox on my vtr previously which was pretty quiet but did sound nice.. was a pretty big 3.5" tip though so depends what size you want aswell i guess.

#9so if I keep it completely standard up to the backbox, it should be fairly subtle, whatever I go for? Also, I assume the smaller the diametre the quieter? Sorry for noob questions, new to modding!

#10get a magnex with center silencer.. not droney, not too loud etc

#11Magnex funnily enough I have one for sale.
