#2Thats pretty advanced rust. Saxos go there regularly. Dare i say it sell the car NOW, the welding will cost more than the cars worth and imo a rotten saxo is a lost cause, shift it while it still has some MOT and it can be someone elses problem, still plenty others around that are solid.

Most if not all saxo's go there. The factory didn't put any sealer in the panel join from factory.
Mine was gone on both sides, cut it out and welded it up, rust free saxo.
You will be looking at around £30-£90 per wheel well. -

#7Rear arches is a dead easy repair If you've got some ready formed 90degree steel.
Check under the ecu and fuse box while you've got your mate there
For about £100 you could have all of it done and then you've got no worries. -
#9Check your sills too inside the body kit. My nearside one was shot
-
#10check the front of the rear arches, mine has gone both sides there

#11Go to a scrap yard, equipped with a stone saw/ battery powered grinder find a good shell which isn't rusty and cut out the part which is rusty on yours.
Make sure you cut it a lot bigger than it needs to be as you will have to find some decent metal to weld the patch in. Make it a tight fit and just tac it all the way round.
Then at the end smooth off your weld and prime then paint it, you should be left with an original looking inner arch instead of just flat plates welded everywhere
