Disconnected tube under the hood, what is it?

    Hi,

I bought a used saxo about two months ago (2002, 1.1i). I got it to repair shop some time ago to change filters and oil. I'm noticing inconsistent and and low rpm on idle, so today morning i took a look under the hood and noticed disconnected tube. My questions are:

    1: What is it?
2: Can it be the cause of rpm problems on idle?
3: Can i easly reconnect it? (i didn't want to fiddle to much not to break something, and not sure what it was)
4: is possible mechanic disconnected it while checking something?

Here's a picture with the tube highlighted where it was disconnected (it's connected on this picture i just took a random pic of the internet because didn't have time before work, i can take a photo of how it actually look likes in my saxo later).

    thanks for help!

    It's just an oil breather

Remove and clean your idle control valve may help.

Just search the forum for the guide, it's easy to do.
