wheels turn but body wants to go straight on....

That was the best I could describe the problem im having at minute.

When turning left only, it feels like the wheels want to turn but the body of the car wants to go straight on :/ Not really sure how to describe it other than it feels really strange.

Noticed earlier tonight when I parked up, the front left wheel was practically touching the arch closest to the door.

Bearing in mind I have put the following parts on which are BRAND NEW:

Drop links, wishbones, track rod ends (has been tracked too), driveshaft, poly bushes on front of wishbones, lower brace, top strut mounts and bearings, all new nuts/bolts.
Iv ordered a set of poly bush front arb, will be fitting them when they arrive.

I have triple checked every nut and bolt for the above.

Stumped what it could be now .

Do any of you guys have a clue what is wrong?

    Cheers

Sounds like a shagged wishbone, but you say you've replaced them. Did you replace them or just the ball joints and bushes?

    changed the whole arms.

Did you fit both wishbones fully then fitted your lower strut brace? Just sounds like it could be twisting.

    Bit of a birthday ballache!

Yes, fitted both arms, then couple days later I fitted lower brace.

Working on the car & at work tonight.....on my Birthday

Can only really be the wishbone IMO, might have been fucked from new. How's your strut sitting?

I think you've just been used to driving on buggered wishbones for too long?

I will have to have another look tomorrow see what I can find, if anything. as far as im aware the strut is sitting like it should be, but will check that too tomorrow.

Was a little crooked, but not sure if that was all down to me hitting it with a hammer for over an hour.

Glad you got sorted, knew it had to be something to do with the brace twisting the wishbone out of position.

Had a closer look at the lower brace this morning, its slightly twisted as in 1 side will sit flush while the opposite end is at a slight angle. It's now on the rubbish pile lol
