Painting parts

  1. #1
    Hi there guys.

I want to paint some rusted parts on my saxo ie suspension strut, wishbones stuff like that.

Was wondering what paint is the best to use. Hammerite smooth in a can or tin?

Or another brand? I will be using a drill with a wirebrush attachment before painting.

Interested to know what you guys use.

    Thanks in advance.

Hammerite i'll be using.. it's not like you see them or as some do send them off to the painters.

Thanks. to be honest its to stop things getting rusty more than anything. also it always looks good if you ever want to sell your car as people often look at stuff like that.

    Thanks again much appreicated.

Are you going to use spray can or brush the hammerite on?

I'll wire brushing the rust off and using a brush. Doesnt matter either way just mask up the calipers etc.
