bleeding brakes fail

  1. #1
opened drivers side front bleed nipple to push piston back, gone to bleed system, starting drivers rear, passengers rear, drivers front, passengers front.
drivers rear sorted, no air just flowing fluid.
passengers rear nothing for ages then air bubbles then nothing for ages again, at this for over an hour.
checked drivers front and same story as passengers rear, air and fluid then nothing.
passengers front all good, solid flowing fluid no air.

m/c is above minimum mark and was kept above the whole time.
system was working well until this, nothing else changed.
pedal still goes to floor throughout.
been at this for over 4 hours

    any help?

Pump the brake up till you have a hard pedal. Then open the bleed nipple while someone else is keeping their foot on the pedal.
Why are you bleeding the brakes may I ask. ?
In fact why did you open the bleed nipple to push the piston back ?

Don't get a hard pedal no matter how hard or long pumped
    Opened nipple while brakes pressed.

Bleeding due opening bleed valve to push piston back on front, I know stupid as I could just open to resovior cap like I've done countless times.

You need to put a plastic tube on the bleed nipple, then open when pressure applied and re tighten before you come off the pedal. Repeat this until just fluid comes through the tube.

If you don't have a tube buy a brake bleed kit for about a fiver. They have a non return valve on and make bleeding easier.

yes only opened the bleed nipples when pedal pressed, then closed wore releasing, no fluid coming out though no matter how long left open or how many times repeated.
