Now, that looks like an awful lot of muck for a split so small doesnt it? never seen them go that bad? new Driveshaft and be done with it? or is it a worse problem?

    Thanks

I'd replace the inner cv rubber and how it is.

I changed mine with a £6.99 universal one with no tools (just rage), its been fine ever since!

It looks like hassle though? When can get a new shaft off eBay with a 2 year warrenty for 30 quid! DOes the amount of muck/grease/oil or whatever it is look normal for a CV to go? as its caked in the stuff at the minute! :/

Yeah, the shafts are spinning like mad while driving haha! So splatted it everywhere.

Does look thin tho. Check your gearbox seals when you change/repair it

I would just replace the shaft tbh.

you'll need 2ltrs of gbox oil too.

How easy are they to replace? Worth changing them? The seals I mean

Shafts? Not difficult at all really just effort lol. Just dont expect to pull out the shaft and quickly put the new one in to save draining fluid because that doesnt work. thehehe. Yeah drain it out.
