car judders under load

not a saxo but my new punto hgt..

it judders when the car is under load ie when you accelerate in low revs, iv you drop it down a gear its fine, my first though was maybe a clogged fuel rail/injectors not being able to supply enough fuel when its needed

been looking on fiat forums and a few people say the coil packs/leads, but i dont think that is my problem due to only happening when im in low revs

and another possible solution can be the variator which seems to control the inlet cam shaft as a sort of VVT, another symptom is that the car sounds a little like a diesel on start up, which it does... so could be my problem

anyone else got another thoughts before i resort to joining a punto forum

Check the charging rate of the alternator,as if the voltage regulator is faulty then the output will be up/dowm.

cheers dude the last owner did say he thought there might be something up with the alternator so this seems to add up
