Clutch slip??

Right noticed my clutch had started slipping but when I set off from a standing start it seems fine, goes through all the gears fine, it only slipping when I'm sat in a gear and I go to put my foot down, slips for abit and then grips

    Looks like a new clutch??

Yeah that sounds like a new clutch job. Only other option there is an oil leak somewhere that is dripping on to the clutch somehow.

Defo new clutch, drive it easy, no booting it and the clutch will last til you can afford/are ready for a new one

Making it slip will make it worse in seconds, and eventually it will be undrivable, I had 18,000 revs to play with on my motorbike and taking it easy up to 4k then it slipped constantly like a cunt because I wore it out badly

Qhen they slip they can go from moderate, to extortionate in seconds.. Trust me, so drivewith symapthy or you won't even get far lol

The way to check your clutch is gone it to put your handbrake all the way on and try and pull away in 4th gear. If the car moves forward or stalls then the clutch is fine. If you cant get the peddle all the way up without moving or stalling then its fucked.
