Air bag light

   what are common causes for the air bag light to be lit. It wasn't on when I bought the car now it stops on.
   
   what should I look at?

   anything on the airbag system
   
   What car is it? model?
   
   can be passenger airbag (VTS)
   
   can be pretensioners
   
   can be pretensioner wiring
   
   can be drivers airbag
   
   can be airbag ecu

   Check the orange cables under the seats,the connection work loose/become dirty.

   Yeah, deffo check the orange cables first. Mine was half cut through where it had got snagged under the seat.
   
   Replaced the cable for a quick fix.

   i was looking on autodata earlier at work randomly about common faults and solutions on saxos.
   Looked at the airbag one and they say to cut the plugs off under the seat (orange cables) and solder the wires together.
   
   May try this soon.
   fed up plugging and unplugging the connectors every few weeks lol

   This is a good solution,I used bullet connectors & my airbag light has been fine.
