Saxo vts randomly cutting out

   Ive got a 2000 saxo vts and now and again while driving it seems to hesitate for a second then its fine and I just went for a spin when you approach junctions and press the clutch the revs are dropping and its cutting out but its not all the time any help much appreciated

   I hope so ive googled it and it says change map sensor,fuel filter crank sensor spark plugs so many things for different people there was some thing about resetting ecu

   Or get it on a code reader to find any logged fault codes before spending money mate.

   the last one i done at work with these symptoms turned out to be a map sensor.

   Thanks for the replies I want it sorted so bad the car is really tidy but recently started doing this im gutted

   If the revs keep dropping on their own I would be inclined to clean the icv or maybe replace before you start replacing sensors.
