Mad noise coming from front end

   Hi
   
   I sat on my bonnet today and heard a squelching noise coming from the struts do you think they are leaking as they are the standard oil shocks ???
   But the car seems to be sat the same hight but the drivers wheel has come back slightly and sometimes catches on the in plastic ????

   shocks might be knackered. push down on side of a car hard see how many times it bounces.

   If the wheel has come back, as in its not in the right place i'd be looking at wishbones first. These could be bent. Failing that i'd be looking for signs of accident damage.
   
   RE your shock though, sounds like its leaking, they should be quiet. take them out and have a look, see if they're smooth and make any noise.

   i would get a flash light in the arch and see in the struts are leaking if that are you will see it as they will be wet.
