Vtr cutting out when cold

   Hi recently brought a vtr . There a slight problem when I start it from cold it will cut out unless I hold the throtel down? What could be causing this ,, there no codes on ecu

   Could be your coolant temperature sensor.

   I could be the idle control valve try giving it a clean with electrical contact cleaner
