Electric window broken and lambda sensor

    Hi all,

New to citroens and therefore saxos!

Just picked up a 2002 Saxo VTR yesterday (first saxo I've had).

Now, using this website and the brilliant people on it I managed to replace the 2 drop links and rid the horrible thud on her.

However, there are 2 other problems/issues/queries I have (which I hope to be the only 2, for now at least):

    1. Sodding electric window... Driver side.. Goes down fine, but when going back up it goes at an angle and doesn't go right the way. The side nearest to the rear of the car goes up pushing forward so I can see a small hole in the window? Any idea what problem this is and what I can do to resolve it?

    2. Engine management light is on. Previous owner seemed to think it was lambda sensor.. Is this likely to be correct? Looked at exhaust, and its decatted I believe. Would it still have lambda sensors? Stupid question possibly!

Really appreciate all your help guys!

    1. For this one your missing the below from your window, it stops it being pushed forward. If you take off the door card you'll find it. If not there a couple of quid off eBay.

    2. Even though its de-cat you'll still have the sensors. If I were you I'd get the car plugged into a machine to know for sure.

As above, one window catch and plug the car in to confirm a sensor problem. Is the bottom lambda still plugged in or not.

Brilliant. Thanks for the replies. Electric window now sorted, and yet to replace the sensors. Will update when done! Cheers.
