T2 or t25

Right, stripped my turbo down and looking for a upgrade due to slight play in shafts

My question is, the t2 is slightly smaller so does that mean it will spin faster, et less lag off line?

I'm currently running t25 cold side and t2 hot,

Next q, are these the same size on the exhaust side?

    Don't all rush at once..

Anyone no if t2 and t25 have same inlet and out let size fitment?

i have a t25 but not 100% sure on what exact spec of t25 it is,

my inlet is iirc 56mm od

and outlet to intercooler is 51mm od (100%)

    hope this helps

turbo you have is good, my 1st turbo was an R5 T2 hot side and a Saab T25 inlet, was on boost by 1800rpm and made 200 bhp @1 bar
awesome to drive as no lag

my T34 doesn't come on boost now until 4k (but makes 400bhp at 2bar) only reason it doesn't feel laggy is with a 6 speed box

Good advice from martin there. The t2/t25 hybrid setup is an excellent choice for a road car. pratically no lag at all, and great power delivery.

Cheers guys, I think my turbo has had it, there's no end off play, in it, and some things are broken, I'm unsure on what internals mine has,

    But I've found a fully returned t2,

And plan to swap my t25 hot side to it,
