Electric Mirrors in VTS

   Hi all,
   
   Before posting this the other day, I thought it'd be best I took the door card off and make sure the electric mirrors were actually plugged in, they weren't, so I sorted that but they still aren't working, I can't hear a motor sound or anything.
   
   When I got the car, it already had wiring for an amp followed through into the boot. I haven't yet sussed out what the remote cable is connected to, but it works. Is it possible that the remote cable is connected to a cable for the electric mirrors? If so, how easy would it be to get to to split it?
   
   Other suggestions to what it could be are welcomed

   Have you checked the fuse?

   Turns out I was blind for a moment. I just checked the fuse and it is fine.

   Possibly be the switch, sometimes they get full of kack and the contact isn't very good. Take it out and give it a clean.

   Bit of a bump on this but still not sorted! Where is the motor located?

   If both are not working it'll probably not be the motors.

   I would be wondering why they weren't plugged in in the 1st place, have the wires been chopped anywhere? Check you are getting power to the plugs if you have a multimeter

    If theres a relay for the mirrors i`d check that as well mate.

    Unscrew the the looms at the doors and make sure they have the matching amount of pins and there all good. Take two seconds to check, then I'd take the switch off the door card and check the connections then the door looms.

    I had taken off the switches and cleaned them previously when you had mentioned, but didn't do anything.
    
    I'll get out there now and take the door card off to see if I can see any snipping!

    The relay if there is 1 will be probably be above the fusebox inside the car,the motors are located inside each mirror(behind the mirror)
