Wheel Choice

  1. #1
Which wheels do you think I should go for, baring in mind they are for this car:

    Choice 1 - TSW Volcano - 15" - Motor-World

    Choice 2 - Wolfrace Street Octanes - 15" - Motor-World

    Choice 3 - Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 - 15" - Team Dynamics

    Choice 4 - Team Dynamics Drifz - 15" - Top Gear
  2. #2
Those Team Dynamics are dead sexy!

Silver rim wheels are nice, but not my 'tea of cup'
  3. #3
cant see the picture of the car mate, what car is it?
  4. #4
should be able to see the pic now
  5. #5
yeah cheers, tbh mate im not too keen on those rims but out of them all id take the drifz
  6. #6
yeh well Im basically looking at black because they go with headlights and rear lights etc etc.

and basically they have to be 15" because I like to have people in the rear of my car occasionally and it rubs with 2 peopl in the back at the moment

know what you mean on that mate, i dont really like arch rubbing so i will put 15" on mine, oh and have you looked at the OZ superleggera(sp) they look really good on saxos my mates got them in anthracite i think and looks awesome
  8. #8
The wheels on it already look nice, although we need a side on shot really
  9. #9
superleggera's are the best wheels ever made, (no reason for me saying that)

    hehe

Yeh I've looked at them but I don't think you can get them standard in anthracite or black so it would mean getting them resprayed which I'm not really wanting to do

The wheels on it already are curbed a bit but they need some love and attention really. They are also too big for the flat arches so they really have to go although I love them
  12. #12
You used to be able to get the superleggeras in a althracite colour, not too sure if they are now discontinued now.

They have updated the superleggera's now to the ultraleggera's:
basically more light weight but not as good looking!
  13. #13
Might give OZ a ring see if they still do them then because I've always liked them, oh and the TSW Pace as well.
  14. #14
There you go just an example:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/17-OZ-Superleg...QQcmdZViewItem

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OZ-racing-Supe...QQcmdZViewItem

    pictures dont do them justice.

agree on that one mate, however if you can find a set of superleggeras in anthracite or black i would seriosly consider it they look lovely.

It's between the Wolfrace Street Octanes and the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1's for me.

I just can't decide whether to say 16" if I go with the Team Dynamics or not

i dont really like anything bigger than 15"s riding on smaller cars tbh when you see people with saxos riding on 17s+ i always think its a hatchback not a range rover ffs spoils the car imo

Take the wheels of the Audi/VDub? in the background...

On a serious note I think you should stick with the wheels you have at the moment, in keeping with the silver theme...
  21. #21
yeh same here, I'm gonna go hae a look around some shops tomorrow, hopefully influence my choice
  22. #22
dont rush your decision mate, nothing worse than forking out loads for some wheels then deciding they look shite

    VW Golf R32 MK5
  24. #24
spoilt it with the crap on the top

anyway...i think you should stay to silver wheels my self....
  25. #25
it's so bloody hard I dont know how you lot choose. I'm going to do a few photoshops tomorrow as well. It'll be October before I've made my mind up probably.

15" wheels would set my mind at rest about lowering though I think.
  26. #26
i actually like the ones you have but if you want to change then number 4
  27. #27
better pic of the Team Dynamics Drifz

I'm really liking these, smae mount of spokes as mine as well.
  28. #28
    what you got now?

    tsw evo's?
  29. #29
I think slammed on those Team Dynamics drifz would look ace, I think the wolfrace street octanes are too common, the team dynamics pro race 1s/1.2s have too many spokes for the car but these ones re perfect.

and they just stocked some in local Halfrauds

well I think they changed between being TSW Evo R's and TSW Revos at some point.
  31. #31
i think the drifz will suit your car the best.

drifz are alright saw some 15"s at r-tec today and they honestly look tiny
  34. #34
Went to Halfrauds today and this lovely chap helped me out. They let me put some drifz 15" 50 profiles up against py car so I took a pic.

Also did a bit of photoshop workon it for a better effect  watcha think?

  35. #35
imagine that, slammed, stripped, dimma showcage, tints should look the tits
  36. #36
    and slammed:

    (sorry brainstorming out loud lol)
  37. #37
If you are buying new rims especially the wolfrace street octanes just to remind you that you get discount at r-tec as you are a premium member, so they work out cheaper than motorworld :Y: so don't forget to compare prices on there...

I think that the drifts look the best... and you have to buy spacers to get the octanes to fit so if i was in your situation i would go for the drifts...

if you do get them from r-tec mate be prepared to wait a while, i had to wait about 4 hours and my mate had to wait a long while aswell, cus you can`t book it in.
  41. #41
Think the driftz are the best mate, 1st time I've ever seen them and think they're really nice. Plus the octanes suck!
  42. #42

The Sax-P premium membership discount only applies to orders made online... so there shouldn't be too much waiting around
