AP Sportfahrwerke kits / RTEC

    hi,

had a search but can't really find anything.
i have a 2002 VTS, currently sitting at standard height, that i want to get lowered.

just wondered if anyone here has used the AP Sportfahrwerke suspension kits:
    http://www.rtecshop.com/shop/suspens...year-4-96.html

and if you have, what you think of them - are they any good? ok for everyday road use? good value? good quality or cheap rubbish? do they actually drop a VTS by 40mm?
AP seem to be a bigish company in suspension but i can't find any other info apart from there own sales blurb - i cant seem to find any reviews from real people anywhere.

    considering because:
    a) it says it lowers 40mm which is what most people seem to say is the best compromise between performance / looks, and costs pretty much same as Apex kits.
    b) they sell it in RTEC which is really close to me.

(or should i just go for the tried and tested APEX 25mm kit?)

    which leads me onto....

anyone that has had their car lowered at RTEC in St. Albans - please can you let me know if you were happy with the work & service and if you would recommend them.

i've been there to buy stuff but not had any work done there.

any help / advice / opinion greatly appreciated.

    cheers
    V.

AP are the low end suspension kits from main owners KW Automotive. Probably ok but I sell Apex kits 50:1 for the saxo. It works, its comfortable. Done.... If I owned a saxo i'd be fitting the Apex on a budget simply because I know it works well and i've had so much positive feedback.
