   Hi guys,
   Ive got a mk1 vtr which ive struggled to get insured on (not yet currently passed) the vtr insurance is £141 pm although if i go on mums insurance its £75pm.
   I got offered this saxo-http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=141031504935&ssPageNam e=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123 in a swap for my vtr and ive got to pay £50 too.
   Question is would anyone here do it? am i being ripped off? should i just keep the vtr and go on my mums insurance? im only 22 btw.
   The saxo in the link above has had some form of crash i think as both wings are rippled and to me the bonnet doesn't sit right.
   Advice please guys

   LMFAO. It's a 'Desire 1.1 with 2 ruined wings, cracked bumper, no grill, poss new door too and that slight pic with the rear wheel probs has camber.

   he isn't far off, you would have to be somewhat of a mug to consider this pile of shit.
   
   Fuck knows what sort of damage it's got inside + most likely incoming arch rust problems. The rear left wheel looks sideways and I may be wrong but the engine looks like it was pushed back.
   
   Fiver says frame damage, proper fubar.

    Mate, whoever offered to swap you for their car AND £50 is having a laugh! As for the mug comment, just take it on the chin, you have to learn to take a bit of stick on this site. It's not as if its massively offensive is it...

    No its not massively offensive im over it now i just didnt expect a personal attack thats all, i just got offered a deal as i put an advert out looking to swap my vtr for a smaller car due to insurance issues and got offered this, i saw the damage and wasn't too sure hence why i asked for advice here

    Nothing wrong with the 1.1s but do not go for that one. you want like for like really in condition wise.

    Stick with the VTR mate. I know insurance will be *a lot* steeper, but worth every penny.
    
    That saxo is naffed. Deffo had a smash, and even though description says 'not cat C/D' I'd be fairly sure it was, or a hit/run of course!
    
    Don't touch it with a 10ft barge pole.. Or with your VTR! (Personally think it's a cheek you're being asked for cash on top!!)

    He has now been told too fuck off guys so don't worry about that, i was pretty sure it had been in some sort of smash which is why i asked here as the seller was adiment it hadn't so i wanted you guys opinions which ive gotten so thanks all :-)
