Ecu locked?

    im after some advice and wondered if u anyone assist me? i have 02 vts that has a realy bad running fault a local garage has look at the car and basicaly said it needs an ecu! so i purchased an ecu with barrel transponder chip reader and imobiliser box the garage have fit all of this and the car will not start at all just what i believe to be the imobiliser light is flashing! (bottom left pic of key thing) dose this mean its locked out? and what are my options? cheers.

    Yes, You'll need to get your new ECU unlocked.

    What was wrong with your previous ECU? They're not known for shitting themselves, and generally speaking if the ECU died, it wouldnt work, period.

    Did they even plug it into a diag?

    the ecu will not read at all the plug point seems to have no power at all! its had engine sensors changed lambda sensor ect it black smokes and over fuels like hell misfires it is undriveable! but it wil run okay for a few seconds then start missing again

    CAM or ryanmt can unlock your ecu for you pm either.

    how much dose this cost roughly? i was told as iv changed everything that the car should run?
