Dodgy wipers (front windscreen)

   The wipers have started playing up on my car just in time for mot! Anyway they will sometimes work fine other times they will stop and get stuck on the window until I flick the stalk, I,m thinking bad stalk? Thought I'd get an opinion from you guys before swapping that though.

   As you said, bad stalk
   I had that on my old 106 gti, changed stalk and worked fine afterwards

   Could be a bad stalk or the blue wiper relay mate

   Had the same thing,& the nut securing the wiper arm to the spindle needs tightening up.As the thread gets worn after years of use.

   Will check those out already have a spare stalk so will try that 1st.

   Fixed this, it was the blue relay inside the fuse box inside the car for future reference
