#6It's the bearings.
They are corroded due to a split seal.
Common fault with ALL 106/saxo and there's no getting away from it. There is no adjustment on the axle whatsoever.
Easy to replace, held in with 4 bolts. 18mm.
Second hand axle? £50?1 user thanked this post: -
#7Rear beams on here are about £100/£150. Fitting is another matter or if you know someone that will do it cheap etc then that's a bonus. Re-conditioned beams are a fair bit more.

#8I have a fair but if know how, ill just find one in the scrap yard me thinks
! But what about my drums and breaks ect? Do they need removing then re-fitting and bleeding the break system ect?

#12you should be able to pick up an axle pretty cheap for a 1.1 as it wont have disks on the rear find someone breaking one and go and have a look under weight the wheel should be straight not cambered like yours also jack the rear of the car and see if there is any play in the axle. never buy one thats allready been removed!
