Battery light flashing

   Had this problem since I've owned the car its never caused me any problems or break downs and my battery has never died but cut a long story short when i rev over a certain amount of revs, the battery light flickers, hen if I'm doing about 60 it stays on, (done alternator and battery test) even still i didn't have to do those tests because my batt has always been strong, and its been the same for a long time, just became curious while i was already on this site any ideas?

   Dirty/dodgy connection on the alternator plug.Or the alternator diode pack is gradually failing.

   my vts did this for years never bothered it at all, alternator was changed in the end still came on though! it seemed worse if i drove it hard! stoped doing it now anyway!

   As Stevo says, dirty/dodgy connection on the alternator. Happened to me with the vts, 106 gti and my current vtr lol
