new clocks

    good morning
    can anyone help me ?? i had some new clocks for my saxo vts due to the oil pressure gauge not working and since ive fitted these new clocks every symbol on the dash are now lighting up i.e abs, air bags and so on

    is there anything i can do to get rid of these symbols i must add these clocks were out of a 04 reg and placed into a 51 plate if this makes a diiference .

    The lights do they go out after a few secs/when the car is started or permantly on?

    Dodgy clocks(possibly the voltage regulator in the clocks)or a wiring issue.
