PAS pump clip

   Just busy replacing the pas pump.
   
   Pumps off, just cant for the life of me manage to remove the clip into the loom.
   
   the red clip clicks up twice but then the plug doesnt come out.
   
   any ideas?

   As above, all the crap it collects makes it stiff.

   got it off, had to hacksaw around the plug...
   
   the connection on the loom and PAS were all green... think the loom one may be done in.
   
   can it be replaced?

   Course.. Cut and splice you can replace anything
   
   Best unclipping it til it goes back to fusebox, gives you more leeway

   I just seen the PAS loom comes away like.
   
   Might have to buy a new one. think its been the loom clip thats broken all along...

   Can i just cut the plugs off and splice them together?

   My mate done that with his a few year ago, he took the pump off but forgot to dosconect the plug and when he dropped it to the ground it ripped the plug off.
   
   He just soldered them together with a load of heat shrink.

    I'd get down the scrappy and get a loom off the newest saxo or 106 you can find

    I went down to find one, found one, went and removed it all from the top end of the bay, then got down back to the clip for the PAS and it was all taped up.
    
    someone had obviously done what im asking...
