What is te problem

   Hi my 2002 saxo vts is making a weird noise from engine, not sure if its something to do with clutch because a friend said he could hear from that but wen I heard sounded like it was coming from the block... What are signs of an engine being on its way out???? My oil temp is also playing up some times and keeps dropping going back up as well as speedo going up itself on idle... Any ideas why? Is it time for new engine????

   Most likely clutch release bearing, should hear it change tone when the pedal is in/out if so then its that

   I oy had a new clutch 3 weeks ago!!!

   Did they change the release bearing?They should`ve as it comes in the clutch kit.

   Start the car and sit inside it, leave it ticking over and press the clutch pedal in and out if its the bearing you will be able to hear it change tone slightly. If its that take it back to where you got a clutch put in and explain that they haven't changed it
   
   I know because mine is buggered haha
