Check the wiring to the map sensor, they often get fractured where it exits the sheathing.

Only fuel cut-off is in the engine bay, lift the rear seats up pull up the round plastic cover for the fuel pump. Then check the fuel pipes, also check the fuel hoses on the fuel filter.Have you had the passenger seat out at all & maybe trapped a fuel line on re-fitting?

Rear has been stripped for a while , today i swapped throttle bodys , new plugs , new battery terminals and had a good check around the loom amongst various other jobs and found nothing , runs alot nicer now but still got same problem. :/ nothing todo with bay cut off as far as im aware.

    its rather annoying me.

Mine does the same also when you enter a big round about at like 40+ it will do it be nice to know what it is! Think it could be fuel pump on way out

I've had something similar in a previous saxo a few years ago. I bought a saxo that had been stripped out with some cheap bucket seats, the previous owner had squashed the fuel line under the bucketseat subframe when bolting it down. Might be worth checking your fuel lines guys.

yeah it was intermittent on a fast corner too but seems to have stopped that, sounds like u have the same thing , nothing todo with pinching any lines because nothings been changed on the car.

Would love to know what this is.

The problem almost vanishes after covering a few miles , so almost seems temp related , aswell as bump related , could it be anything todo with lambda ?

    Problem fixed.

So its started annoying the shit out of me and went to town trying to hunt the fault.

Turns out there was old brittle wiring inside of the crank sensor plug, you have to take the crank sensor plug apart to get it theres a couple of bungs in the way definatly recommend anyone with an old gti running like a bag checks this. Motors running so sweet now
