saxo vts running on 3 cylinders?

    Hi people, ive had nothing but trouble with this car and only owned it 3 weeks! I bought it cheap as it had a severe knock from the bottom end. So ive replaced the engine with another of the same age. Then i had a problem with the fuel pump priming after sorting that problem i had a problem with the car starting then cutting out immediately. I changed the engine loom and that still didn't solve the problem.... I then plugged a computer into it and had 2 faults come up 1. Secondary air pump 2. Ignition. So i cleared the codes and it ran however its only running on 3 cylinders ive changed the injectors, injection module and the coil pack and spark plugs but its still the same. Plugged the computer back in and there is no fault codes :/ i keep hitting a wall with this car and its driving ne crazy! Thanks in advance

    Do a compression test on it mate

    I will do as soon as i get my tester back. There is no smoke what so ever but i guess it could be a burnt out valve... But it did level out the other day.. Il do the test just for piece of mind.
