   Mot guy just foned me there n says he checked the emissions first (as it was so loud) n says its going to fail emissions as its decat so he never went through with mot, so I'm at a brick wall is it expensive putting a cat on it , it looks like a custom made 421 mani ! Car is a mk2 vtr , oris there any lenient mot testers out there glasgow south way any help appreciated people

   You can get a mk1 CAT from Eurocarparts for £35, then all you need to source is a centerpipe and backbox.

   Just put a cat on it. Pretty obvious what you got to do. Can't afford to run the car legally then don't.

    dont get a after market CAT will only last a year and a new one will be required
    
    try get a genuine one from a scrapyard
    
    will say PSA on if its genuine
    
    just make sure all is ok

    He has a standard manifold/cat and might post it down to you.
