mk2 demister switch?

   Whats up with mk2 demister switches? on my mk1 saxo, the demister clicks on and clicks off. However on both my mk2's the demister switch doesnt click on or off. I cant even tell if theyre working? is it just coincidence that theyre both broken or are all mk2 demisters like that?

   Mk1 switch you manually switch on/off,mk2`s they switch themselves off after a set period.

   yea and mk2's they don't click you just press them, also from what I found mk1's don't fit in mk2's as pin arrangement are different

   Yup that's normal.
   
   Even in my 106 it's like that. Switches off after 12 mins iirc.
   
   The button lights up though? Or there's a light on the dash iirc.

   It could be the bulb has blown.
   
   I've no idea why they didn't change them to LED's at the same time as the dash.

   the problem i had was that it was plugged into the wrong one.. all works now though, cheers
