cv joints gone?

I have recently developed a knocking noise on my furio when turning full lock around corners which im pretty sure is the cv joints. But I have been told u have to replace the whole drive shafts on saxos as cv joints are part of the whole drive shaft and not a seperate component? Which is stupid if thats the case as cv joints are serviceable parts. Also when turning on a full right lock, it has now started to sound like something is rubbing? Doesnt sound anything like the normal knocking, havent look underneath yet but mainly wanted to know if cv joints come as seperate parts? Cheers

Sometimes it can be cheaper to replace an entire driveshaft than buying seperate cv joints. Less hastle as well. Not sure if the Saxo CV joints come apart. Someone on here will know.

Ok thanks for the reply, it probably will work out cheaper to get the whole shaft but if I can find out if cv joints come seperate then I can work it out

Most of them dont come apart, you will only tell by looking at what you have fitted.
