vts starter motor issues help please

   i have a vts 2002 the starter motor seems to have a mind of its own works some days and doesnt others, also when driving sometimes the battery light starts twitching when you put your foot down. i have been told it could be a wiring fault some were between alternator, battery and starter motor. does anybody have any suggestions please

   Have a look in the fuse box for loose fuses, check the wiring as someone has already told you, sounds like a loose connection if it only flickers now and again

   Clean the connection on the alternator(wires/plug etc)also check the starter motor connections.Make sure to remove the earth from the battery 1st.
