Body kit refitting

What do you guys use when the clips break/fall apart to refit the vtr panels?

The main one that has come off is just infront of the passenger rear wheel, there is a few dents/ripples from a slight bump but nothing major, but as the clips have broken what would you use to put it back on?

How would you glue the clips back to the body kit panel as that's where they have broken off

Could use tiger seal to stick the kit back on.

I need to thank the person before me who put a blob of tiger seal on instead of a 12pence clip that would've worked just also

do you mean old or actually "cold". A new set of clips will outlast the car by far, and is cheaper than a tube of tiger seal btw. I don't understand why people would glue the kit for the sake of not spending 2 or 3 quid for a bag of clips.

You don't, they're called clips because they clip. It's a piece of piss to replace, literally a matter of minutes.

Apart from on the door panels where the metal clip bracket separates from the plastic trim. What then? You have to either glue the clip bracket back on, or just glue the body panel back on.

exactly above ^ the glue and the clips get old and come away from the kit itself. easy enough to glue back on though

Number plate tape did the trick in the end for me
