Rough idling and starting up noise on start up?

   I have a Mk2 saxo VTS when I first start my car it idles rough and makes a noise as if something is starting up can last anything between 30secs to around 2minutes. Also when the car is cold it seems to judder a little when in any gear without accelerating. Any ideas would be great? Cheers

   mines sort of the same idles rough as fuck. I think its to do with th way your cams are setup. least thats what i got told about mine

   Unfortunately mate I don't have cams, so that's the problem! Doesn't seem to have caused a problem to the car just very frustrating and annoying... Anyone?!
