Hi i got two questions.

Ive changed my std coilpack tobone from zetec. Is that an edis coilpack?

and is the trigger ve vr? 60-2?

Nope, EDIS is a seperate module.

Trigger is VR 60-2

Im thinking of getting megasquirt.. so what is this coil type called as it wprks same as standard i presume..

Edis is used on older fords such as the mk3 fiesta rs1800.
This unit is needed to run megajolt in a Zetec engine in a (for example) mk2 fiesta xr2.
I think it depends what Zetec the coil pack is from.
However I'm not familiar with megasquirt so you may not need an edis unit. Best to read up on the spec of megasquirt. If it list needing edis. Then it is a seperate unit to the coil pack.

As you wire up the coil you have a fused 12V+ and 2 signal wires which you connect to the standalone ECU. (Middle wire on the plug is fused+)

Then you can select the outputs for cil 1+4 and 2+3 in the Megatune program (very similar to Vemstune which I use)

I thought of just use the std ecu cable and make an adapter.. to make it almost PnP.. do i need to fuse something like you mention?
