Help! LSD question

   i know someone who is offering me a lsd for a 205,its tranx and fairly fresh.
   would it fit into my vts gearbox or my spare 20cc58 s2rallye box which is an unknown quantity? please respond thanks.

   not unless the 205 box is an MA and not the usual BE type that is fitted to mosst 205,s

   Although if it is a BE diff, you should be able to sell it on no problem as they are desirable - a few people here may even be interested. Jean-Paul perhaps.

   i would suggest you check it is working correctly as tranex are no longer made --but they can be overhauled --but that could cost over £100 for just replacing the friction plates or more if any gears are worn -- all depends how cheap it is

   Quaife own and continue to make tranx parts. Ordered some new parts for a mates type 9 gearbox the other day.
